IMEI chaged after riparation

Hi guys,
I have a big problem!!!
after a reparation of my 9210 at nokia point in Italy the IMEI of phone is changed! the repair center asserts that it is impossible that happens and moreover they assert that it is impossible to restore the old code because the new code is nonexistent!

someone has already this problem?
how has resolved it?

thanx

Marco

first is it the authorised NOkia Service Centre ?

the only possibility is they change the Machine or i dunno what is the real name for it but that's happened with my 8250 they changed the machine and the IMEI is changed but they noticed me about and put a sticker on the old IMEI sticker

hav u still got the BOX ?? cos the IMEI is printed on the BOX right

yes, is a official service point

I don't have a phone at this moment. I have only spoken with the attache' of the store where I have carried the telephone and I am waiting for that me they give back.

Yep! I had the very same problem - twice. Every time they did some major repair on my phone they changed my IMEI - and I couldn't re-register some of the programs I had purchased. So, yeah, that happens.
