Agps - Does It Work ?

According to an article on the infosync website. The AGPS feature has been disabled by 3. Is this true ?
I for one was looking forward to the GPS feature. Has anyone used this feature yet ?

According to 3 there is no software for GPS yet...
It seems theyre in such a hurry that they release half-finished products and promise us a lot.
Thats not going to hold for them in the long run...

I for one bought this device because of the promise of GPS. Their website is even today advertising the A920'S built in GPS functionality. How strange then, that they do not have the technical capability of delivering on this. I wonder if this will be like the promised bluetooth. A wait and see approach.

This is a mail I got from 3 Sweden:

Swedish: GPS kommer att fungera under hsten och den fungera med s kallad Assisted GPS, det innebr att man laddar sin geografiska position ner frn ntet till 90% och den terstende 10% frn satelit, det gr att det gr lite snabbare och att det inte tar s mycket batterikapacitet.

English: GPS will work this autumn and it will work as Assisted GPS. This means you load your geographical position 90% from the 3g net, and 10% from sattelites. This makes it faster and doesnt take to much batterypower.

This makes it faster and doesnt take to much batterypower.

And very likely,a lot more expensive 😉
