A920 and Bypassing Certificates

It's my opinion that posts detailing how (or where) to open "3's"A920 phone should be considered at the same level as linking to warez and generic reg codes.

The company has put this in for a reason - while we me not agree with it (and a lot of forummembers don't) I think we need to respect this and not allow this on (or to be linked from) AAS.

Comments?

Wrom what i've heard the baypassing worked only for some older firmware versions which had some extra certificates built-in.Those who had the extra certificates managed to sign just a couple of MIDlets by using the SDK which is available for download from threes website.

For now,i think its a gray area.

I can confirm its possible to bypass things completely. I've done it and have a write up, but will not publish. I'll see if I can get some official line from Moto / 3

True! I just saw a complete explanation on My-Symbian but i agree that we should stay on the safe side and not publish any information on the subject at least until we have some official info from either Three or Moto.
