I got a Moto A920 on contract from 3!
Basically can i install other software such as games and stuff on it or not?
If so where do i find them and how do i do it!
Answers in simple form please!

OK! In english for us newbies....
As far as I understand from what I've read about the A920, 3 have locked the A920s operating system so that you cant load anything you want, The only software you can load onto the phone are the ones that have been certified by 3 (Read: Only the ones that have paid 3 to give an electronic certificate to allow their programs to run on the phone).
So if you want to use games or apps on your phone you have to buy them from 3
Not exactly true.Some people have found a workaround for Three's walled garden approch so basicaly you can install any app you want.
The problem is that the process of bypassing Three's protection might be illegal so untill the issue is resolved discussion on the subject(Bypassing)are not alowed.
Its not "illegal", it may just invalidate the warranty, if you have a problem with the handset. Then again, if you do a master reset/clear any evidence of tampering will be removed.
Its a gray area,anyway,my point was that discussions on the bypassing subject are not alowed.

then you would enter **057*
it will ask you for the code. Many of you will luck out.
the default code is 8 zeros as in 00000000
if not your screwed.
there is a formula that uses your phones barcode number and makes a subsity lock out of it. always 8 digits though.

what exactly does that code do?
Thats the phone unlock code - it allows you to put SIMs from any network in your phone ...

That doesnt work for me! you sure it isnt a fake.
Eight zero's isnt gonna work ... it actually needs to be the right code based on your IMEI. Three will give you the code for �15 failing that theres a few places floating about the web thatll do it for around a tenner ...
