Hi All,
I am here in Calahonda nr Malaga on holiday, and I have dropped my P800 onto the floor and its cracked the screen in three places - its now useless 😞
Does anyone know if any SE repair centres nearby which will be able to do a "while you wait" screen replacement??
I feel like someones cut my arm off 😞
Thanks in advance!
Stoogie.
Are you in Ibiza? I know there's a part of the island called Calalonga and we stayed there two summer holidays ago. If that's true, or even on the main land, I think you'll have to wait till you return from holiday....

Nah Rob. Calahonda is in the middle of the southern mainland coastline. Ibiza is too far to swim, the Med's getting a bit chilly and water might penetrate the phone en route!

Know how you feel; my screen has decided to lose horizontal sense, so wherever you press on the screen the application button vertically above that point gets pressed, leaving only the jog-dial working.
Nice man at Vodafone is going to give me a new handset today, but until the backup I took last night gets restored on the new handset tonight I will be without diary, contacts etc.
I know what a goldfish feels like now... 😱

I may well get an Uberflame for this... but I actually found a way forward - partially...
My wife's phone is a Nokia 3650, and once I put my SIM in that, I found that with the exception of the Opera support, just about all I use the P800 for day to day was available.. Certainly enough mobility for a geek on Holiday with an iBook in the apartment too... 😉 SMS, POP3 eMail, Picutre messaging (useful for sending photos of glittering seas via eMail to friends back home in the rain ]😊 ) etc.
About 15 mins and a new APN of "Internet" for the POP3 / SMTP mail as opposed to the defailt Vodafone Live! and I was a happy bunny!
And, I realised how much I am missing read receipts on SMS!!
Anyway, back in the UK now, and thanks to those who posted.
As an FYI for anyone heading down south, or planning to, the connectivity in Malaga / Costa was as good as I have here in the UK, with "vodafone ES" being as transparent as Vodafone here in the UK with GPRS, 242 voice mail etc etc all there as if I was still in the UK.
Thats the way it should be !! 😊
