miniGPS ... bigPBK (P800 Battery Killer)

tried minigps for a while, it's a great software, and a real promissing one, but what bothers me much that I have to keep it funcional all the time to get it features, which is draining the battery like hell (16 hours and the phone dies).

guess it's a real good software, but people at Psiloc need to fix this problem.

anyone faced same problem?

ive had it on for ages, the only thing i noticed was i left a "send SMS" event on and have sent loads of messages out without realising! No battery problems at all 😊

strange 😕

mine was sucking power like crazy, although it's the latest version 1.03 (strange that when u go to their site, u'll c latest version in 1.02, buty when u download it u'll get version 1.03)

I even tried uninstalling and reinstalling it, but get same results, when it's off I face no battery problems!

I find this software a real great one, and I really want it to work properly.
anyone tried their new software? where I am, which is the same as miniGPS, but different output 😊

Yeah, i tried that too, its just a simpler but better looking version. Less events and a Learn button to learn where you are. Mini GPS is better 😊

that's what I thought ..
and that's what'll make me stick with miniGPS..

there should be somtething causing the battery leak, I shall find out by quiting all programs, and starting them 1 by 1
