is it possible with a 3rd party app to listen mp3 in stereo or does the 6600 has mono output like 3650?
does the 6600 has stereo sound
lars,This question has already been answered many times.Next time, please do a search.
The answer is no,the 6600 has mono output, like the 3650.
why does so many people want to buy a 6600 is has the same features as the 3650 and 7650 its only a new model why a 6600 and not a sx1 or a n-gage? those have much better features
Well,i don't want a 6600 but i think i know THE REASON for most of the regulars in this forum:It has Nokia writen all over it,with big, shiny letters 😉
I've not decided what phone I will go for next. Could be 6600, SX1, P900 or something else.
As for going for the 6600 because it's got Nokia on the front, well, the last 2 phones I have had have been Nokia and I can't fault them; the 5110 was great for it's time and the 7110 I'm almost tempted to switch back to because I'm so fed up with the little "features" present in my SPV.
I'm disappointed that the 6600 doesn't have the features of the SX1 or the N-Gage, but since it's aimed at the business market I am hoping Nokia will bring out a more feature packed version.
Mind you, I'm not convinced I actually need stereo sound (I have a minidisc player which is far more convenient and I don't use the stereo sound in my SPV!), I'm not sure about the FM radio, faster GPRS would be nice (but it's only about 8KBps faster isn't it? Not sure I'm that fussed about it) and with that it makes the 6600 and SX1 pretty much equal in my eyes (unless I've missed some other major features out?)
Another option is to just pick up a 7650 on the cheap which I will also look into. Or to really look at what I need out of a mobile and go for an even simpler mobile...
My 12 month contract runs out in mid November, I will be having a look around some time after that.
if stereosound doesn't matter for you, then you should choose the 6600, coz the keypad layout is much more compatible with a lot af apps, and it has a never symbian version
the 7650 was a great phone on lacking in the storage department.I can't use the 3650 for work because:
1-chidish looks
2-horrible keypad.
the 6600 look great and has expandable memory what more can I ask for?
