Chess & Demo are back, but not?

After restoring onto a new handset, Demo and Chess (which I had deleted) have come back. I guess they are in the default build, and that the restore does not delete things, only overwrite what may be there already.

These appear in Applications and take up space, but are not in my Uninstall list, so no clean way of removing them.

Any suggestions as to the best way of deleting them?

My guess is to re-install them from CD, then un-install them.

if u check ur drives through fileman or tracker, u'll find some folders that r related to older softwares that u've installed and uninstalled, they usually don't take much space, but if u r a software maniac, u'll have lots of space wasted by these folders.
I myself delted these folders manually, which gave me more than 1mb of space.

ur guess is the better way to clean these programs from ur mobile, but remember to spend some time cleaning your folders after u do the install and uninstall of any software.

Yeah, I'd noticed that the un-install helpfully leaves your settings folders around just in case you change your mind and re-install it later.

Might just use the PC-File Manager thingy and hack the filesystem on the phone. When that cocks everything up, I'll go for the install/uninstall option 😃
