Hello all,

I have searched on this topic but cant find anything that may help so thought I would create a new topic.

I have version 1.10(0) of screen saver and its an excellent app. Problem is when someone sends me a text message, the little envelope symbol appears (to alert me of a new message) but then it stays there even once the text has been read.

Its just annoying because I keep thinking there's an unread message when there isnt.
The only way to get rid of it is to switch phone off then back on.

Anyone know how I can solve this?

try getting the latest version of the software. i know they fixed this already.😊

I've ScreenSaver installed and I don't have that problem, so it might be a previous version bug or something. Update it and forget about it.

Thanks for that, I had a quick look before for new version but didnt find it. But i've found it now - Version 1.41(0)

This seems to have fixed the bug. Thanks,

I've been using version 1.3 for a long time now, and only just noticed that bug...

So I upgraded to 1.41, but now, with the "inbox status" option checked, messages are not shown when the screensaver is active. I just manage to see the icon in the bottom right as the screensaver finishes.

Anybody else had this??

ok after upgrading to version 1.41(0) it seemed to work fine for a day, but now I have same problem as "liverpool lad". the text message icon doesnt appear when theres an unread txt waiting.

Anyone have any other ideas?

i got the latest version from their website. but there seems to be a bug in the autolock. it can keylock but you can't use the option auto unlock or the " dont lock" command. does anyone have the same problem as mine?😞

@ girosky, would the "keylock" issue that be with extended profilespro, or another Psiloc app?

I've asked support at Psiloc to have a look at it.

Generally what they do is fix it and post a new version, so give them a few days/ a week and check if there is an updated version on their website

Has anyone else noticed that screen saver really sucks up the battery power?
I have standby mode set to 1hour but it still drains the battery before the days out.
Just brought a new batt, will see if thats my problem when it arrives.

Yes, it does consume battery power, also depends on the screensaver you choose (and/or the speed of the animation)

Some time back I got a 1200mah battery, and even with screensaver / reasonably heavy calling, it generally gets through to the end of the day.

Hello there. I have been having an unusual problem with my screensaver (being mine the v_1.20) and i have been using it on the Ngage (original ver.)

I have been using the gif animation screensaver, but up until now, as soon as 3 seconds pass that the screensaver gets loaded, it stops and returns to the normal screen. My gif is a 174x132 px and it weights around 52 KB. I first tried having the aniviewer on my phone, but since no expected results came out, i uninstalled the aniviewer and still i get no animated-gif screen saver that lasts more than 3 seconds.

Does anyone know why this might be happening? Mine's registered und all.

At least for now i will have to conform to use the spotlight option 😞
