Agendus vs DayBook Plus

Has anybody tried both softwares? IMHO, P800's PIM application (Calendar, Task) is very basic. There are some applications written which enhances PIM functionalities. But while both are attractive, I found that they are far from perfect though ...

Agendus by iambic (www.iambic.com) is widely known to Palm OS users and also PPC users. Recently, it is made available for P800 (And other UIQ device in the future). Although it is still in beta version, Agendus provides a seamless integration to enhance P800's built in PIM functions as well as messaging, telephony and many more.
In the P800 version one weakness I found is the absent of Week and Month view like the Palm OS version. The program also crashes when opening contact linked to certain agenda. Hope the final version will address these. ANybody else found bugs in Agendus?

DayBook Plus (http://www.l3solutions.com/L3Prod_L3DBPSp8.htm) was released a while ago which mimicked and tried to do whatever the original Agendus did for Palm OS devices but it needs AppForge Booster. Which for many users is a total downer. However, in terms of functionalities and the interface, DayBook Plus did an impressive job compared to Agendus. However, the most annoying drawback is the amount of memory used when it is running. In my P800, it uses 3869k of memory just to open the default view alone. Another downer is the slow processing power. It took about 15 seconds to load a contact details.

What do you guys think?

It's really a no-brainer: You're comparing a pre-released, beta under active development to an application that's been available and mature for a few months now.

That said: I'm waiting for Agendus.

I've used Agendus before, in it's Palm incarnation, and I'm more than convinced that it will be an excellent program. Extra views are coming, as well as auto-start in the next build and a boatload of fixes. I've had years of support from them and it's always went well.

On the otherhand, Booster sucks. It had made my P800 unstable and damn annoying to use. Bloated memory and slow display aside, I still prefer the integration of the to-do's and users, and the speed at which I can link them together.

By 1.0, it should be a really stable beast. Wait it out a bit and see...I've got faith in Iambic.
