Ximplify Potential Money Fraud

3 replies · 2,011 views · Started 13 October 2003

Hi all,

i just wanted to share and warn everyone about the following.

4 days ago (8 oct 2003), I purchased MY LIST PRO 3.5 from the XIMPLIFY.com site (a sw to create lists).
I was debited 26 euros (as you can see below) from Worldpay, which confirmed it to my email. But that was it. No instructions on what to do next, or how to download the commercial version, no license key either. Nothing at all.
I tried to email them, but of course got no reply.
Besides, I downloaded and installed their latest TRIAL version, but when i open it with my 9210i, it says that the trial version is too old and i cannot use it. No wonder....
Could it be that these malaysian guys are stealing money from the consumers??
Bye
Simone

This is not a tax receipt.

It's a shame you're having these kinds of problems. I've never had any trouble with Ximplify and I've always found them most obliging.

However, that this has happened to you I cannot deny. It can take a long time to process license keys at times (I've had to wait up to one and a half weeks with some developers, so maybe give them a few more days.

Other than that, what e-mail address did you use to contact them?

I hope you get sorted soon because myList Pro is an outstanding piece of excellent software.

Thanks a lot for your understanding.

As you expected, the license key has just been sent to me.
No fraud whatsoever, altough i dont' understand why it takes so
long after the payment is verified. It's not very customer care-oriented attitude, is it? (1 reg key took you 7 or more days??)

I used my work account with Accenture to email them.

Yes, it looks like a cool piece of sw to use.

Ciao
