Bluetooth modem not getting any data....

5 replies · 1,946 views · Started 16 October 2003

I try to use my phone as a modem for my PC via Bluetooth. The connection part is ok, the PC connects to the phone, the phone is going to GPRS connection (the little "G" appears). So everything should be good. But it is not!

No data is loaded when i try to access a website on the PC - No error messages of any kind, just no data is being sent to the PC.

Anybody have an idea as to what could be wrong?

I have Widcomm software and i read in other posts that i need to activate DUN or something like that. How do i do that? Please help - i am about to be desperate.....

yeah, or maybe because the gateway of your GPRS access poitn is a WAP gateway, and not an Internet Gateway.

Just ask your provider.

Good suggestion, but that was not it. My provider (orange DK) has a wap and a web gateway. Im using the web gateway and still no success. I am close to give, so if ANYBODY has a solution i will be extremely glad 😊
