It also works on the 7650,it seems that N-Gage MMC's have a small BT chip built-in.You can use the chip to connect the MMC to any BT enabled smartphone and play the game. 🙄

so if i got tomb raider would it work on my 3650?

i dont know about that HaDi. as far as im aware the ngage games are encrypted specially for the ngage. Ill test it meself on me mates fone and post the results.

For those who didn't notice,the level of sarcasm in my previous post was very high.

Unless N-Gage game MMC's has been tampered with,reverse engineered,the protection bypassed broken in any way,which is illegal,they won't work on any other device then the N-Gage.

A friend of mine who works at EB here in town told me that the games on NGage actually use SD cards. but then again, this is the same guy who told me that most PS2 games can be played in a DVD player... O_O

the games are on a form of multimedia card (whether it be sd etc.) but are encrypted in such a way that only the ngage can read it. so u mate is correct in a way.

well u guys can believe what you want, i tried it myself and i actually played the game...i was just trying to be a nice guy and share some good news with you all. The game plays the same on both phones and even graphics are very similar. So yes if you buy the Tomb Raider or any other N Gage game it will most probably work or your 3650!!!

Sorry if you took offense. Only that based on the info ive been given its shud be impossible to play them. Great news if it does!

One more thing,the N-Gage uses MMC's,not SD cards and not only they use some form of encription but(not sure about this) the games have been developed using API's that are N-Gage specific.So it probably means that even if you bypass the protection,games are very likely to work.

anyway, wouldnt it be very hard to play N-gage games, because of the directional pad. The N-gage pad can go 8-ways and other series 60 phones 4-ways (up,down,right,left)

If you remove the N-Gage front cover, you will only see 4 directions under the d-pad. The 8 directions then has to be implemented in software (when two adjacent directions are depressed simultaneously).

i tried a version of tomb raider on my 3650, but it did not work. It shows the icon, but wenn i open it it sais :

Its a cracked version and works for the N-Gage, still not for 3650 😞

If this turns to a warez/cracking discussion i will be forced to close the thread.

BTW:Even if the protection is bypassed it still wouldn't work on other Series 60 phones because N-Gage specific games have been coded with use of N-Gage specific API's
