i can't access MSN's server through it

That's because since October the 14th, MSN withdrew their gateway from many third party software developers. They refused to allow access to their gateway unless the third party developers signed some kind of legal agreement. I know that that jMSN still works though. Not too sure with TipicME. Maybe I'll reinstall it and try it 🙄

For me its working very fine except in a couple of days now when I got trouble to connect. Its absolutely the best apps for chat coz you have everything at one page. Earlier I had to start 3 different chat program but now Agile Messenger doing the work great.

i had problems using agile for connecting to msn before that date though, it just said error connecting to server, i'm using true gprs internet connection and also trying it with my pc's connection which works for most things, i can't access MSN through IM+ either, 😕

Whats the bandwith usage of agile when idle? Since its pretty expensive with GPRS for some people it would be nice to know 😊

In my case I used to have myBuddies for online all the time before and so Yahoo Messenger. Now I am using Agile Messenger and I cant see much different and its very cheap, can`t say a specific amount of kb but its NO problem. I am paying about $3/mb.

There's a new version of IM+ that fixes the MSN and Yahoo outages. Also, it's faster to load and more stable than before (and while that's not a recommendation in and of itself, I can say the new version has not crashed on me yet.)

I moved from MyBuddies to IM+ to Agile and now back to IM+. All it really misses is the smilies and predictive texting, and it'd be the perfect app messenger.
