Unable to start up the phone

i just installed the application, then to restart the phone, after that, the phone only show the Nokia icon, and no respond. How should I do? can I to hard reset? Help...... 😞

when the phone starts up press and hold the pencil key. Sometimes it speeds up the start up (god knows how).
it that dont help then yea try a hard reset.

Yeap,that's the safe mode bootup.Its speeds up because it skips some parts of the startup process.

I'm afraid you'll have to take your phone to a local NSC for repair.That should be no problel and they shouldn't charge for it because the N-Gage is a new product and should be under warranty.

Yep, i installed what i thought was a legit Java game, turned out it was a cracked game, some wierd error happened, tried to reboot, nuthin!, seems that you can right royally screw the software up with java apps i am told by my friend the phone repairer.
So, it's currently being sent back to Nokia, whilst i await a replacement ngage.
Im stuck with an 8210 in the mean time,

i miss my ngage!
