Hi!
I am trying to convert some Family guy VCDs to RM
I have used the guides available, but the file output is still very large! (236 meg)
The VCD episode is 256 meg
Using the instructions from another thread, it still comes out large.
Anyway to change the size?
If so how?, any pointers?

The file size of the .rm is dependant on the file length not file size. So you'll probably hav to rip the episodes off the vcd so that there independant files. Then ensure you hav all a fully registered version of helix producer plus and that all the settings used are the same as those posted.
What is the file length of your output? and wat is its size (ie. 640x480 or 176x144)
Use TMPEGenc to rip, cut and merge the episode on the vcd.

Its wierd, but i gave up trying, couldn't work it out.
Then for the hell of it, i tried again, it worked!
My 256 meg file was converted into a 13 meg rm!
An episode of Mystery Science Theatre 3000 converted into a 56 meg file! (Original is 700 meg!!)
Strangely, it wont let me do 176x144, only 176x122...dunno wats up there!

Thats because the keep aspect ratio is still selected. Deselect it and type 176x144.
