New software for synchronisation between PC and P800

Nike, would this software be anything to do with you or the company you work for?

If so, why not say so, rather than pretend to be a user?
If not, then my apologies, but your post does read like so much of the spam I get daily.

Hmm, Feodosiyskaya st., [reaches for streetmap], think I was round that way recently. Got a decent sushi bar there if it is where I think it is.

Just wanted to share with others with the point that I was waiting for since moved from 7650 to P800. Sad, that my post is recognized as spam 😞.

The "Looks brilliant" & "Hope you'll like it too" are what's a bit strange.

"Looks brilliant" gives the impression that you haven't really tried it yourself.

"Hope you'll like it too" gives the impression that it is actually your or your company's software. Otherwise, why would you hope for other people to like it too?

It also implies that you've actual experience with it. Otherwise, it is a bit strange to like an application so much just based on a description and to hope for others (strangers) to like it too.

So, Nike, do you work for the company that created the software or not?

If you do, your post isn't cool.

If you don't, please, forgive the suspicious minds here (mine included). 😉

just tried it ,not so brilliant to me ! can't even get it to find my phone!! will give it another try later got to run to work.

This Oxygen software is completely rubbish.
Firstly, theres no USB cable connection support.

Then the software would not detect the phone (P800) either on IR or Bluetooth (despite much fiddling with com port settings etc. etc.)

And they want 39 Euros for it!

Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha.

My advice to Oxygen is not to let people trial it, that way at least some suckers might pay up front for it. As it is anyone who trials it is simply going to spend an hour trying to get it to work, then delete it and never bother with it again (Hello, that's me!).

My advice? Leave it, just leave it.

Nike's post, word for word, on alt.cellular.ericsson, too. Posted, it seems, through Russia (...!ash.uu.net!news3.optonline.net!in.100proofnews.com!in.100proofnews.com!mtu.ru).

yeah, i couldn't connect through ir either, i had the "send files to..." icon on my desktop when the phone was connected via IR, but it just wouldn't find it through oxygen

To everyone with connection problems: Did you read the message that developers showed you in installation (you can find it now in install.txt). At first, i didn't and of course, no connection. Then read and connected without any problem. Had to switch off searching of devices in default software also.

PS. Actually, there are 150M people in Russia. Does all of them work for Oxygen Software? 😊

Ya zaneemayous bizneesam v Moskva.

[damn keyboard doesn't do Cyrillic, so have to guess at phonetics, apologies]

what do you mean default searching of devices though because i was using infra red as the connection and not bluetooth as the program doesn't support the usb sync cradle

I mean the Phone Connection Link icon in tray. If you set checks there for BT or IR Oxygen Phone Manager may fail to found your phone. And mey not 😊 I disabled it on my PC 😊.

If anyone experience connection problems, please read Install.txt file carefully! You have to install OPMAgent70.sis first and activate link from it.
