How to shut up the calendar alarm?

Hi,
please, could anyone tell me, how can i shut off an calendar alarm? it�s very anoying in the cinema, even when in silent mode, the calendar entry start to ring?

I"ve encountered the same problem. I just deleted the alarm entry after it had served its purpose. If anyone has a more "scientific" way of silencing the alarm, his idea is most welcome.
