Hello....

When I send a movie via Nokia pc suite .. for example a 50 mb videoclip (mpeg or avi)..
The nokia will automatically turns it into .g3p .. and the size will become 2,8 mb.. so the quality and sound will be very terrible...
I'd like to have the file a bit lower then 50, but with the best reachable quality / sound

Can someone help me with this?

a) Turn off the auto conversion option in Nokia Pc Suite

or

b) Send it directly to phone without Nokia PC Suite

thank you

Im trying right now

Strange, I've got a 128 MB, I tried sending it through Bluetooth.. without nokia pc suite... it says memory is full (and its a 30 mb movie... and i've got 124 mb free)

Now it already says memory is full, with a 5,7 mb file.. :s

hmm?

have you checked and made sure your messages save straight to MMC and not to phone memory? Check messages, options, settings and then other. Check memory in use is showing as memory card

First of all, there is not mpeg1,2 or avi player for Series 60.You need to convert the movies, for .rm use SAbz911's guide. For mp4/3gp you'll have to try on your own.

When you transfer large files, try transfering the directly to the MMC.You can use Pc FileManager from www.epocware.com

I tried a .mp4 movie.. very small one, but my PvPlayers doesnt open it correct.. ?

And, i want to convert .avi files / .mpeg files.. to mp4 for my nokia, but how can I do that? i want a whole movie, on good quality en with great sound.. (full screen ofcourse)

I've made a .3gp file from a .avi file with PVAuthor.. (39 mb .3gp and .avi was 36mb)

Encoding works, but if I play it on my pc, I dont see the screen.. On my mobile, PVPlayer cant even open it.. how come?

Jo0st,try playing with the setings in PvAuthor's Encoding tab.I used to encode whole movies in 30-70 MB.
