Can any of you guys help me with the FSC? After a call, it leaves some pixels on top of the sceen. You have to restart the phone to remove the leftover pixels. Plus it does't always play the assigned ring tone and instead plays the default ring tone. Have any of you guys encountered the same problems? I shall greatly appreciate your help.

I can't help with any solutions, but I can confirm I have the same issue with the leftover pixels. I don't use multiple ringtones, but want to, so if this isn't fixed soon, I won't be registering.

I'm having the same issues here...

Firstly, mine only seems to work if I have a "full size" image associated with a contact. If I just haev a thumbnail, it doesn't seem to work.

With a full-sized image, it works, but it rings with a default ring tone, and not my custom one that I have set for my profile.

Strange- It's too bad, cuz this seems like it would be a sweet appp if it was working just right.

I guess the other question is:

Does Simedia's Photo ID app suffer the same problems?

I know the one thing I'm less keen on with Simedia's product is that it links the pictures in it's own database, whereas FSC uses the pictures associated with the Contact in the Contacts app.

However, if it supports custom ring tones....

Yes, photoid plays your customized ring tones. Based on looks, the FSC is better bec. it really utilizes the entire screen, and it is much more colorful. However, based on performance and function, photoid is it for me.

Nice to know (also Simedia seem more involved in the online forums).

However, have you reported the problems to Symbianware?

I had reported problems that I encountered with FSC and SmartProfiles. Had been months since, but still no upgrades in view. 😞

At least with PhotoID, drazvan had been quite responsive in fixing bugs and adding improvements until it reached v2.4. 😊

Also with ETI camcorder, dfdzgz had been responsive and active in making improvements.

All these reminded me of some insurance agents, who seemed to appear less once the products are sold and out there. Not much followup after that to find out how our experiences are, what are the forthcoming enhancements... even though we had submitted our email during purchase, and of course the loyal participants of this forum. 😞

Yes, I've had problems with another Symbianware application (SmartvCal) and although they have said the developers will work on the problem at some point, I have no idea when they are going to fix the bugs in the application.

Yea I used to use FScaller but after some time, brr. Didn't quite like it so I just used the in built photo caller ID
