A Lesson For Us All.......

i had a call from my friend the other day telling me to go round to his as soon as! he sounded in a panic so i went round.
anyway once i got there he told me the problem was to do with his mobile(3650)!
i took a look at it and it was really playing up!

when he would recieve a call his log application would close so after that his call register would no longer function.

his phone time seemed out of sync and would constantly be wrong even once you'd set it.

his applications would keep telling him his memory was too low even when he would have 3MB RAM free!

it would turn of and on by itself!

his java applications would take about 5 mins to load!

etc etc

thats what i can rmbr!
anyway after investigating his phone i realised what the problem was...the guy had a 128MB card FULL of applications!
but he had never payed for a single one! rather, they were poorly cracked applications that acted more as a virus eventually bringing the downfall if his phone!
even after a full reformat his phone is screwed and he cant do nothing bout it coz his insurers will check his software log to see why the phone messed up!

so anyway i thought i would share this story and let it be a lesson to all of you who play with fire by playing on cracked apps!
sak.

he's definatly NOT ok, he's pissed off! but hey what can you do! you reep what you sow. (spelt wrong)

Surely after a full reformat of both the phone and the memory card there is nothing left to cause problems??

I have a 128mb mmc with 89 cracked apps loadsa vids inc simpsons eps and 32 javas! i also got loads mp3s, skins, roms ect

I have shitty ram probs!

it takes 2 mins to open apps.

My phone says phone startup failed. Contact the retailer now and then.

It still ok.

i have about 20 cracked apps and about 7 cracked games, they all work well i had a erros one time from wildskinz and have deleted it directly since then i had never had eroos and my phone has still about 2,50 mb ram free and is really fast so i don't think cracked apps can bring damage to your phone cause it never happened to me😮

Real convincing logic, lars. Not!

Because it hasn't happened to you, doesn't mean that it doesn't happen at all (to others, or even you some day).

The most assured mechanism to spread malicious code, I think, is just by putting it inside a popular commercial game that has been cracked & uploaded to some P2P network or obscure FTP server ("success" probably guaranteed, if the machine is in an .ru domain).

i will tell you if my phone is messed up. so your can laugh me in the face but i don't think it can bring damage to my phone, but i will tell it to yoy if it happens😃

Hi, the problem with your freinds phone is that hes ruined the firmware, he should go to the nearest/local nokia repair center, they might charge him they might not, if it still doesnt work, borrow a card reader from a freind and back up the card.

I hope i have helped
