Will you buy the P900?

nope already got a p800 and the only major feature is the 65k screen. i've heard concern about the screen being less visible in daylight and the 4k p800 has been adequate for me. uiq 2.1 is not a major upgrade and i'd be looking at tracker 3 more often anyways. the stylus would be nice but as with the screen, not worth the upgrade nor the probable 100-300 price difference now if i were buying one new. if they had added a d-pad mm that would've been really nice.

I've already gone and beaten up the staff my local Vodafone shop.

yay, i just got a job at the link too, so i can't wait till the p900 is released, ive got the insurance from carphone warehouse where they will let me disconnect from my service provider currently and they'll continue to pay for me the reamining months of line rental, but i'll still have the phone insured, but i'll get nice discounts on the p900 hopefully, but ummm, yeah, i'll go run out and buy it regardless of the price...because i'm warped and stupid😃

Since I don't own a p800,I'll definitely buy it but because I'm little short on cash I'll probably steal from blind people or rob a bank.

Well I've just asked in Orange and they said it would probably be available from them in the 2nd week of November. As I'm on holiday from the 3rd week it may have to wait untill I get back in December. Damn I hate having to wait 😞

Oh well if that happens, it will give me something to look forward to when I get back 😊

I am really not sure about this one... My sense of reason tells me to hold on for a while because I'm sure the next few months will bring many new exciting hybrids to the market, maybe most interestingly a new Communicator from Nokia.

But then again, the P900 is almost everything the P800 should've been, and my P800 has been a faithful companion since December of last year. It's a tough choice, get the P900 now, or wait for the new Commi which may or may not appear, and then maybe not before six months from now... Hmm... 😕

I asked everyone else but I forgot to say what I was going to do.

I am going to run (O.K I'm lazy so I'll ride 😛 ) out and buy the P900 as soon as it's released.
I'll probably get it on contract and with the money I save I'll buy a 128MB duo 😎

And the first program I will buy will be SMSXtender (I hope I'll still have friends 😃 😃 )

I'm tempted to buy it, since Nokia has been holding back too long with a new communicatior.
But let's see what Nokia will present next week (Nokia Series 90?).

Third opinion... Pre order price is 770 euro here, that's too much.

In Switzerland the pre-order price is 650 Euro.

Thats my big worry. I've made up my mind to get the P900 but I think there's a good chance I'll want one of the new Series 90 devices. But I doubt that the Series 90's will be avaiable in the very near future so I'll stick to getting the P900. It should all become clear next week 😊

When the price goes under 600, I might think P900... Might be changing to T610 for now...

T610 is very good, but T630 out soon, better screen TFT instead of STN.
Only a few days to wait, my local CPW are going to hold one for me. I cant wait! 😃

Well I cannot answer this poll until tomorrow, just to see if there is a new communicator or not. 😊

If there is a new 9XXX, the answer is definitely no! 😃

Yeah, I know but T610 looks better than T630. Btw. doesn't T610 have TFD?

And features are almost same, no critical changes... After T610 I might change to 6600, P900... Who knows! 😉

does anyone know if the P900 supports Nokia smart messaging (picture messages, etc.) ? In my P800 I can't view picture messages, the message only reads "not supported" or something like that ..

Does anybody know if Nokia will launch a new Communicator? If they will then I might be getting it instead of the P900. Otherwise I just might wait till the price drops a bit and replace my P800 with the P900.

I will get it when the contract on my P800 runs out in march. Should be able to upgrade for just about nothing by then.

christomas,the rumour is that Nokia is developing a new Communicator and that its going to be release or announced next year,probably Q2.

I haven't seen P900 yet. I think 65K screen is the best part.

It's comming! It's comming!!!!!!!! I go and pick up my very own sim free P900 for �500 tomorrow. Expensive i know but i'm sure it will be worth it. Can't eat, won't sleep...... i'm very sad.
I was looking at the P900 the sx1 and the 6600 but i think the P900 is the better phone after trawling about 23 hours on various websites comparing.
