my computer doesn't recognise n-gage

I don't have no bluetooth and hav a usb but when i connect it there's nothong detected, no removable disk.

is it because i don't have no memory card in ngage?

I run window 98 se and when I plug the n-gage into my computer it does not detect it.but i have tried it on xp and it did detect it as Drive (f).

Only a memory card is detectable using usb, so yea you will need to put one in it.

And windows XP already has most of the drivers needed to recognise the memory card, so try manually installing the drivers from the disc.
