unlike 9110, in 9210 i cannot find any setting for receiving fax. my sim card has only one phone number. any advice? PLEASE HELP.

Check with your operator if you can receive faxes with the same number. I have a different number for receiving faxes.
The other trick, that at least I had to do, is to send first a fax from your 9210. After that I was able to receive faxes as well (but to the different number).
