When I attempt to connect to my phone via bluetooth from the PC I tend to have to enable each of the BT COM ports indivdually and then disable them again in an attempt to goad the the PC into acknowlegeing that it can connect to the phone. Has anyone else encountered this problem?
I'm using the Shuttle internal BT setup incase that helps 😊
I've had this problem from day one. I've heard of other people having to do this in order to get the port to connect as well, and I think it's just a problem with the widcomm (sp?) bluetooth stack. Or something.
Try to check both com port 4 and 5. It's basically a trial and error thing. If they don't work, try some other combination.
I have kind off the same Problem...
- My Bluetooth-ports are 6&7 and I have to launch the serial connection about 2 times, before my PC notices the phone...
