Packet video - progress bar/slider for mp4 videos?

All -

I just got my firmware upgraded in the UK and treated myself to a 128MB Duo.

I used the P800 profiles from the PV website to create excellent quality mp4 files.

However, there doesn't seem to be any way to 'move' about within a video. Basically, if you play the video from the beginning and stop it after 5 minutes, then you have to start it from the beginning again. The only way to locate is using the fwd/reverse search (which jumps in 20 second intervals).

There doesn't seem to be any progress bar/slider. Seems like it'd be an obvious thing to have?

thanks

well ... P900 has it 😊 and movies are even smoother than in P800, so u have to upgrade ur whole phone not only the firmware 😛

But that's not even helpful! That's just TAUNTING!

it's criminal - there ought to be a law about p900 owners boasting in this forum. 😊

i only got my p800 6 months ago, so an upgrade is out of the question for another 6 months.

actually, i emailed Packet Video last night about this. I won't hold my breath for an answer...

cheers
