Different way to send apps. . .

Personally after buying the N-gage I didn't have enough money to buy either the bluetooth adaptor or a MMC card. I also new about two web browsers that I wanted to try out. The only problem was I don't know anyone who uses symbian nor did I know of anyway to send myself apps.
That was until a few days ago. So here's how it goes.

1. You need to have access to a POP email server. Once you have one get the settings and set up your N-gage to retrieve mail from that server.
2. Email yourself at the POP server with whatever app you want. In this case I wanted to check out Opera. Remember you are not emailing or sending a text message to the phone but to the email address of the POP email.
3. Using the email client program on the N-gage, connect and retrieve the email.
4. While viewing the email, press the left menu button to bring up the options. Then select "attachments"
5. If you have done this right then the app you have sent yourself should show up.
6. Then press the left menu button and select "open"
7. Then the N-gage should ask if you want to install said app.

That's about it. I know I am probably one of the few people out there who doesn't have a mmc card but I have noticed some people having a hard time with the usb cable. This might be a solution to get some smaller files to the N-gage while someone figures out what is up with the usb cable.
