On my way out (To the pub) last night, I decided that I should go to the cash machine to get some money (Just incase it was going to be one of those nights).
On arrival at the cash machine, I inserted my card...then got the following on the screen, something about Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime error.
Which braindead person at the bank thought: "I know!, lets use MS software, it's just what we need when we're dealing with people's hard earned cash."
Kind of scary when you think about it 😱

That _is_ scary. Thank god we dont have M$ in our cash machines (is that really a right term?).
Wouldnt trust those at all.
Yeah I have had the same thing - I am only sorry I didnt take a picture but it was the WIn NT "press control alt delete to LOG ON" screen over what looked like a crashed graphic - very scary believe me!!!!!
not as scary as the simulator rides at the Trocadero in London - things that lift you up and throw you around. I was in the queue for one a couple of years ago when it BSoD... they couldn't find out how to ctrl alt del... very scary! 😛

You can't tell whether a cash machine is running M$ just by looking at it,even those with the dull, blueish UI could be running M$.

Actually, you do have. Most of them run Windows NT in your part of the world. Those that don't, probably still run MS-DOS.
