AFAIK iTunes will only let you play what you download on your PC using the iTunes software or on an iPod.

I know Napster has restrictions on what and how many external devices you can play your MP3s on, but I'm not sure of the details. It's something along the lines of "You can only copy the file X number of times before it locks". But, for me, the iPod restriction makes iTunes pretty much useless.

And the Napster premium does mean you can download as much as you want. There's no 99cent charge per song.

The new Napster is based on the old PressPlay. The songs are Windows Media 9 format.
