Kuthos RPG is a project being created for the Nokia N-Gage which will take the new N-Gage to it's limits. What exactly is Kuthos RPG? Kuthos is the first RPG created for the mobile world with a rich environment of graphics and sounds along with a full plot which can span for hours upon hours.
The game's graphics were developed to be 'nastalgic' view for gaming. A look back to the days of Super Nintendo. What exactly is Kuthos, what's the plot? The preceeding questions will soon be answered so sit tight
The game has the intent of being submitted to Nokia's contest for game developers, if won, many games can be expect by Gaming Matrix Interactive in the very near future.

Kuthos has a very sequential plot which has what can be described in depths. The actual plot can be understood in different ways. The more you pay attention, the more you play the minigames, and take your time you will get more of a complex storyline with more to do (obviously)!
The actual game takes place on a map which consists of close to 25 towns/villagers and an unknown number of various maps/dungeons.

The lands of Kuthos had never seen peace, a war ravaging on for centuries had blasted the lonely planet into a dispersion of despair.
Divided in two by the war, an Empire and a group of Rebel's which had grown to a large kingdom, headquartered on the island of Isabella.
The great general of the Rebels, Zontar, was known for his excellence on the battle-field but a large battle brought him to his demise, his son _________ is the rebel's last chance...at a young age the rebel king starts to train the young man to become a general like his father.

Online Capabilities:
Play your friends in Mini-Games:
-- As you proceed through the game and play mini-games with NPC's they become available for play outside of the game for fun. These can be anything from a card game to a quiz type of game and perhaps a few bonus arcade games like Space Destroyer and such, some of these games will have the ability to connect to your friends via Bluetooth and play each other/with each other.
Submit/Find High Scores:
-- You can browse and submit your high scores via N-Gage Arena allowing you to attempt to become the best of the best. If you hold the top 10 spots, you can receive special items to aid you on your quest that you can not receive any other way.
Trade:
-- You can trade with your friends items, as long as the player has a high enough ability level to 'carry' the items (to resist from godly characters), the items you trade gain an very small 'upgrade' and become a bit more powerfull.

Chat:
-- Ok, ok a little less significant option, but you can actually chat with other players via a game-forum which is live when your connect, you can choose to automatically check for new messages every "____" minutes. This will allow for a little more interaction between you and your friends.. This could cost money as it will use our servers (much cheaper than simple mobile-to-mobile messenging) Plans on how this will work are still underway!
The Vault:
-- This option is more or less for promotions, the idea of 'The Vault' is as you progress through the game you can find items known as 'Vaults' which have thier own category which open to a trailer for a game coming soon from an affiliated developer, or for a game coming out soon by us. The Vault items may also contain a part of a strategy guide, some strategy guide pieces are rare and some are uncommon (there will be about 100) and you can trade them via Bluetooth or N-Gage Arena.

Now how the actual game will be played is much like that of old-school RPGs. The battle system will feature side-scrolling battle much like the 'Final Fantasy' series but with many additions/revisions making it more mobile-friendly.
MINI GAMES:
In the multiplayer capabilities area of this post, you read alot about mini-games. The RPG will feature many mini-games, some very hidden while some will be mandatory to play/do good at to proceed at the game. Prizes may also be awarded such as game items to those who do good at more 'rare' mini-games.
Possible Mini-Games:
Simple/Common:

- Space Destroyer
- Mahjohng
Complex/Rare Games:
- Kart Racer
- Many original games.

PRICES/RELEASE:
Some of the information that almost everyone looks for straight away, well here it is.
The game will be released in 'segments' giving us the ability to release the game faster to you. For instance, the first segment (the largest) may have 3-4 hours of gameplay in it, when you finish a major boss battle, the screen will fade out and it will say
"To Be Continued..."
Segments will be released as they finished (duh!).
As for prices, we are not yet sure how we will do this, if the game wins the grand prize from Nokia's competition, then it will be sold as one game in stores which will be even better than releasing in segments.
However, if the game is released by us seperately, the game 'system' files will cost anywhere from $5-$10. This file will include sounds, graphics, and more and may have to be 'patched' as more and more segments are released ( a free patch if you have already paid ).
We are still deciding whether or not segments will cost seperate money, like perhaps you get the first three segments of the game free, but to continue it may cost you $.50-$1 to buy each other segment, or have a package like $25 for the entire game and such. All ideas are still open-end and could be edited at any time.
