How do I change the app that starts when I open the flip? The defalt is the application list but I want it to be my contact list or the phone one touch dial screen.Can anyone tell me how to change this?
Does anyone here have the irRemote app installed on their phone? I cant seem to get it to work at all. I emailed their support but got a responce telling me to follow the directions on the site. I have read and reread those directions 3 times and still can't get this app to work. Help somebody please.

i didn't realise there was any problems with irremote, i installed it....and then opened it...then chose the device...and that was it, make sure you don't have infra red turned on, that's all i could think of,
some programs allow you to choose them to load when they detect the flip has been opened like tracker, i don't think you can get it to show the contacts though unless you were viewing the contacts in compact mode and then opened it up into large screen mode. 😕
I tried the demo version of IRRemote program and also found it didn't work with any of the equipment at home (with IR turned off). Got no response from helpdesk so gave up, would be interested in finding way to solve
The IR on the P800 has an average range of 2meters.. and sometimes even less.
And you always will have to be straight in front of the device with the IR eye of the phone.
Some devives are more receptive and then you can expect 3 meters.
That the major problem... 😞
Don't expect much of that gadget software, just great ot have fun in electronic stores 😉
I dl the Total irRemote first wich allows you to dl (remote code) ccf. files from the phillips pronto site, install on the phone and and work any tv/vcr/dvd etc.... Couldnt get it to work though. I then replaced Total irRemote with the regular irRemote app and it somewhat worked my TV. You can change the optimization of the remote signal and it might work but its very buggy sw. I wont be registering this app.

Folks, you can add to there any icons you like. I can't even remember by now what icon was that - some application.
It is a functionality of P800, not even that of QuickContact. 😊
