I assume from looking at this that the app only passwords use of the communicator and that we are not able to password specific file access or use the app to encrypt our own files?

Actually SmartSecure is not an application, that's system daemon 😊

SmartSecure works like Psion's owner information
and device password control but with much more fuctions
and ability to fully customize it.

We've thought about inserting crypthographic modules (they're done already 😊 ) into SmartSecure but gave up this idea, because
we are serious about quality of our products. SmartSecure always
resides in memory (but it's highly optimized and uses very small
amount of it 😊) and it would be a crime
to get more precious memory from your device if it can be separate and
not in always-in memory module.

P.s. You may be aware that you can use encrypting, but you may not know
how easy it can be to use! What I'm talking about? SmartCrypto?
I didn't say it yet 😉

Woah Symbianware have been busy this weekend. Better get my news posting hat on.
