I don't know what you are trying to do, but as far as I know, the 9210 doesn't support operator logos and definately not ringtones in the traditional manner.

What do you mean "in the traditional manner."
I can send my self logos by sms but it costs me about 10p a go so i wanted to use logomanager using I-RED.

I was lead to believe that the operator logo was unable to be changed on the phone.

Also yes the Netwrk logo change on 9210 at all.

As mentioned you need an MBUS cable (once Net Monitor is activated you dont you can use the standard cable but set the serial port to MBUS).

You can then use both phone and operator logos AFAIK.

Infra red is not supported (and according to the suthor wont be for some time if at all).

the 9210 does support operator logos but not picture messaging. i have the nokia 9110i with graphic point software in it, from where i can send myself or any1 else operator logos.
Refe... any idea if "graphic point" will be available for the 9210?

Yeah...<A HREF="http//www.ah-creations.com/graphic_point.html" TARGET="_blank"><B>Graphic Point</B></A> was a fantastic little app as well as <A HREF="http//www.mgroeber.de/nokia.htm" TARGET="_blank"><B>LOLA</B></A>..Both could need a port to 9210....Im miss my option to draw and send Logos to my friends..And so do they..

I haven't heard about any port (and to be honest ports are difficult since there has been a fairly radical chnage in the operating system).

However this seems to a popular request and so with a bit of luck someone will take it up. (yoo hoo developers!). I haven't heard about anything in progress but contrary to considered wisdom I'm not some all seeing, all knowing expert.

I've emialed AH asking them if they intend to port. I'll let you know.

I've tried using the cable on MBUS settings and although the nokia software finds my phone, logomanager says there is nothing there. I'm using logomanager 1.1.9, is it possible I need to upgrade?

Yes. 1.2.31 is the version that supports the 9210.

I've downloaded the latest version of logomanager, which want's me to pay for it, I can't upgrade from 1.1.9 with that - bah! Anyway it still doesn't detect my phone with the data cable when it trys during setup.
Anything else I need to know about it?

Presumably you have shut down the PC suite listener as that will be hogging the COM port that logomanager needs...

Unfortunetly I haven't made a mistake that simple, so I guess I'll wait and try the next version and see if that works, or hope the IR is implemented at some point.
I guess I'll have to use another phone to SMS them to my 9210.
