MMS SETTINGS ON 6600??Anyone?
MMS works fine with me...
philippines
globe network
On Orange here and it does not work either!
Got GPS to work after about 5 days of trying no thanks to Orange technical staff, but the front line staff did try to help!
Works fine here (Sonera, Finland)
Ask from operator correct settings
I've tried loads of different configurations, and over-the-air updates from the Nokia and Vodafone Live sites, but no luck so far. The 6600 is not yet listed on the above sites, so I thought I'd go for the N-Gage settings (as it's the newest phone), but still no joy.
If anyone has this working on Voda UK, please speak up!
Thanks

Hi, do you know how to get the settings for webpage browsing...like if I use Opera, does it allow me to connect via the myGlobeGPRS or is there another setting that I must use?
No problems with Orange for me.
Here is a website with more details. It's based on HK, but I'm certain they offer this info for other regions as well.

hi this is the first time i've done this so hope its ok. got my 6600 today its fab and yes i got my mms to work,
i went onto nokia.com- phone support-operatorsettins and just used their set up list which asked me which network etc. .
by the way i'm on o2 and its working fine, perhaps its just lucky but it may work for others
Just looked at Nokia and the 6600 is still not listed for the UK!
Are you in the UK?
hi ye i'm in the uk. got the phone from live telecom sim free.the only thing i did different was to go onto nokia.com rather than nokia.co.uk
i worked through the menus and it prompted me for phone then which network , and the usual 4 were there ie orange o2uk etc. so i selected it and it sent settings to my phone.
I see, Orange & Vodafone are still not listed!
Just O2
Hello,
I am facing the same problem relating to GPRS data communication with my Nokia 6600.There is no Gate IP address option in the access point settings.
If we create a new access point [ Menu >> Tools >> Settings >> Connection >> Access Points >> New Access Point >> Use Default Settings ] a new connection appears in the list.In the connection settings there should be <Gateway IP Address> option like we see in the Nokia 3650,Nokia 7650 and other models, but in 6600 this option is not present.
I think its a mistake in the software.
When we connect to our service providor through GPRS access point The authentication process is done successfuly but when it
needs to send and receive data, the phone dont know the communication server IP address so an error message appears <unable to perform operation>.
Nokia should change or upgrade the software for 6600 device.
