Mine was bought in the U.S., but appears to be an Asian phone - it has the English, Indonesian and Malay languages. (I hope its not too hard to get it flashed for English/Russian in a few weeks once the dealers have the firmware...)

This site has infomation on changes within software versions, only the release v3.42.1 is listed so there is no changelog.

I have read on another forum that nokia have a 3.48.0 firmware for 6600 but i don't know if its available yet

All softwares are the same. Nokia did not yet make an upgrade .😃
