Compatibility MMC and SD cards

Did some of you guys, try to use N6600 with Secure digital cards( SD cards) instead of MMC, as I know they are compatible, but SD cards have option to protect the data manualy with switch.
The SD cards has bigger capacity than MMC, so I was wondering if I can use 256 or 512 SD card instead of MMC?
Did some of you try to use N6600 with cards bigger than 128 MB
Any ideas?

Hi Miro,

The MMC card that I'm using on my N6600 is a 256 MB card & works just great..

I don't know which one Marirs is using but if you wan't to find other working brands, search the forum.

The one i'm using is Xtreme Technologhy 256MB Digital Media Multi Media Card

Works perfectly 😊

As for copying it, thats easy, just use a PC =D put the MMC into a card reader and dump the whole directory into ur PC, then put in the bigger MMC and dump it back

Btw Marirs, when u gonna figure out how to work GPRS in Bahrain 😊 Im still waiting

The MMC I'm using is called MicroSim, its just too good. Loaded with a lot of stuffs 😃

Hi AK112.. 😃 for the GPRS part...here it goes..
I could actually get connected to the GPRS, but just that..there are no bytes up & down.....on further investigation, I heard that Nokia is gonna bring up a s/w (probably wap 1.2 browser) to support the old gateways...unless....batelco is gonna upgrade their old systems 😛 ...or we'll need to see..what our vodaphone is gonna come out with....(which is another month to go) IN any case....waiting is for sure...
In the mean time..do anyone know if there is any wap browsers available which could also support wap1.2..maybe it will be worth a try...
