Assuming it's the same as the P800, with flip open, select the phone icon, edit menu, preferences, Sounds and Alerts.

Nope. Remember, the P800 doesn't actually have vibrating alerts.

It's on the speaker/volume pop-up. Personally, I was thrilled to see it as my P800 always liked to have alarms go off while the phone was muted, in which case I wouldn't even know it went off.
