Hi - I used to connect till about a year ago - I presumed my cable was broken and the communicator fell into disuse in many ways. Now I have a new 9210i (secondhand) but still no connection!
Eventually, after deleting the com ports, Win XP found the Communicator - oh well I thought - porblem solved.
But today - nothing! No connection again! Even when I delete com ports and re-boot.....I have set up network connections, erased all record of modems on com 1, re-connected a hundred times...and nothing.
It did work last night and I installed several programs successfully but today - nothing. I have 2 cables, no difference. The com port works with a serial mouse.
Any ideas at all?
