Hi, just bought the software for my P800 and after copying about 20 ogg files to the audio\unfiled folder it always crashes when trying to open it, displays loading and then gives the error "program closed program unrealplayer/oggserver reason code 3", removed the files and unrealplayer opens ok, can anyone help on this?
Unreal Player 2.0 Crashing
Have you mailed the maker of this app? I mailed him a few times and I got a quick response everytime. I wouldn't know a solution, but maybe he does
already done that, just posting to see if anyone else had same problem
about this error 3 thing, it's showing on my p900 now, what methods did you use to eliminate it from the p800 to get the player working? at the moment, my ogg files are in
audio > ogg > x
thanks in advance
havent managed to resolve it, uninstalled it from my p800 and went back to oggplay

I had the same problem on Oggplay - it may be to do with file size (I think on Oggplay there is a 256 character limit including filepath)
Try reducing the size of your files and the depth of folders.
If that fails try reintroducing the files 1 at a time - I did this and found a few problem files from the new Kill Bill soundtrack - even when the names were shortened they caused crashes so I've had to leave them off.
Cheers

I believe it's been more than 6 months, and he must've solved it by now! 😉
