Put simply, AAS regard the above as illegal software, and any requests for the firmare or pointers for a link on the web will be deleted.

You guys really are being whimpy!

It's all over the net now...

You don't seem to want many people to visit your forum do you.

(Sigh, lets go over this again).

We're not being wimpy. Just because everyone else has it doesn't mean we'll carry it. All About Symbian, unlike these 'other forums all over the web' you hint at, have a huge amount of resepct from Manufacturers, Software Houses, People inside the companies such as Nokia, Motorola, SSymbian, Sendo, Siemens, etc...

Very simply, to distribute the updated firmware is illegal, and breaks the law. Thats why we don't carry it. And the forum is all the better for it.

He is right! the files are illegal. Motorola closed down a site that was hosting the files, they will be taking legal action. So if i was you i wouldnt do it as the moderators could easily pass your ip off to motorola for investigation.

Yeah but if Motorola/3 provided the users with a workable phone, and unlocked its potential, then people would not need to do such things.

If its not illegal, don't bother us,just go and download A925's firmware from Moto's or Three's website.
