Internal memory

Just like to say, Sman is excellent, love it! Just reinstalled it onto the P900.

Upon installing the software I found something a little confusing and am not sure if there is something unusual with the ram allocation or maybe I have a faulty unit.

After removing unwanted files from internal memory I now have about 10mb of free memory. This shows up on the file manager from P900, qfileman and Sman. On the task list of Sman however, I can never get more than 6mb of free ram even after getting running progams to the basic minimum. I remember with my P800 I could get over 7mb without a problem. With more internal memory in the P900 I would expect even more free ram available.

Just wondering if anyone has experienced same situation. I have tried a full reset of phone and still come up with the same problem.

I bring this topic up because yesterday I tried to rotate a picture I took in the highest quality and highest setting, but instead the P900 comes up with a not enough memory message even though I know I have 10mb of free internal memory. Surely it doesn't take more than 10mb to rotate an image?!?

You are confusing user storage memory with operating RAM. The P900 has 4MB more internal storage memory than the P800, but the operating RAM remains the same in both handsets (about 7-9MB available for launching applications etc.).
