I've replaced my p800 with a p900 and sold it to mate. We're both interested in Tracker 3 (I've bought it in fact), but my mate is having a problem I can't reproduce on the p900:
When he locks the screen with Tracker, he can't unlock it AT ALL and has to hold down the power button until the phone shuts off.
This is, unfortunately, putting him off buying it as he loves it otherwise.
Anyone got any idea what's wrong? The P800 has RC2a firmware (night mode, etc).

i have the exact same problem, it says press the blue button and stuff, but that doesn't unlock it, and i have to push the little pin down (which the flip does normally) to save turning it on and off. i don't know what the problem is as i made a thread about it which was unresolved. i was told to check whether handy day was interrupting usage of the blue button but it wasn't, maybe you could check that? but if not, i don't know sorry

Yeah, we wondered about Handy Day, but it's apparently not handling the blue button. Maybe de-installing it might work.

You may want to check out if your have Opera running or not. Opera uses the blue button to go fullscreen. No Opera running and Tracker 3 can unlock. With Opera running to need to power off!
Maybe there is a way to modify how the keys are assigned in Tracker/Opera but I have not looked.
Yeah, removing Handy Day seems to fix it. Thanks for the heads-up on Opera as well (my mate isn't using Opera or web browsing at all).
Hopefully Symbianware will fix it in time, until then, my mate has the choice of Tracker (not yet bought) or Handy Day (purchased by me and passed on to him - i've obviously bought a new license).

Mmm.... mine worked fine till i installed handyday. Odd.
Think it could be that handy day still monitores the blue button even when its not set to do anything with it.
Since it works fine with other apps installed that you can set to monitor the button.
Mmm.... think i'll check handy with other apps and see if it conflicts with them as well!

Trouble is, even if you've not loaded Handy Day, the chances that a mate looking at your phone will load it and cause the lock problem with Tracker are fairly high.
Handy Day's a great product, but Tracker 3 is definitely nicer from the customisation standpoint, just not the OS standardisation standpoint. But you probably don't need both I guess.

the memory management on tracker is a bit harder to use now, before it was just to click the button upwards (jog dial) but now, you have to select it and then go into it. 😞
Works fine on ours. But i spose i havent got anyother programs installed.
The XP skin's my fav'.
I have the same problem on my P800, without running Opera or HandyDay I can't unlock Tracker 3. It worked the first few times but now I have to take the battery out.
It's a pain since being able to lock the phone in full screen flip off mode is the main reason why I bought tracker!
