Mind anyone posting their taken photos with the p900 here??
I'm having 50/50 doubts about which phone to get?
Which phone you ask?
Well of cuz its between the p900 and the 6600.(duh)
Hmm, I've been a nokia whore all my life and I'm a little weary of SE's format.Still, after reading what the p900 could do, I really dont mind spending money on the phone(once the price starts to drop of course)
I dont need a stereo mp3 player.Hell, I've got the best mp3 cd player that money can buy.. and this is just an added bonus for a handphone.
So basically it boils down to this.
1)Which OS is better?UIQ or symbian 7.0?
2)Which OS has more programs that are suited for them?
3)Which phone has better picture quality?
Now, a PDA function in a phone is perfectly OK with me.I'm not that organised as a person BUT I dont mind not having PDA cause i dont see a NEED to own one.
So what do I do.
Look for the "P900 impression photo" link from www.bigfeatentertainment.tv. Those pics were taken close to a month ago so everything is still in its giftwrap outfit sort of speak.

Despit being a P800 owner and wanting a P900 (can't afford it yet) I would honestly say that it sounds like the 6600 would suite you better. As for your questions;
1. Both have symbian 7 as their OS. However, the P800 uses UIQ as it's shell, the 6600 uses Series 60. But the underlying OS is the same. The main difference is that UIQ is set out like a standard PDA with the phone as an app within it. Series 60 is more set out like a phone with the PDA as an app within it. Simplistic view maybe, but I hope it gives you an idea.
2. Series 60 has more apps available, but UIQ does seem to be catching up.
3. No idea. The pictures I've seen taken with a P900 are a bit better than that of a P800, but the P800 takes dreadful photo's. Generally, the Nokia phone's seem to have better photo software (the camera's are near identical).
Bassey si right on all counts.
BTW:I just saw a comparison between the 6600 and p900 camera,and the 6600 seems a little better,especially in night mode.Its a VGA camera,so don't expect miracles.BTW:The p900 runs on Symbian OS 7.0,the 6600 runs on Symbian OS 7.0s 😉
