I would like to send my 9210 to upgrade before its warranty ends but I'd better wait a couple of weeks if a new firmware revision will be out 😉

Just got a 9210e back from Communicaid after a firmware upgrade. It is now running v4.14.
There were rumours a few months ago about v4.24 but, so far as I know, it never got released. In any event, Orange are about 6 months behind everybody else, so u may as well got to v4.14 if you intend to stay with Orange.
One word of warning - be very thorough with packaging if you send it for upgrade. My 9210e suffered a broken front LCD screen after it left me. God knows how they managed that. Sorting this out took some time - the phone was gone for 2 weeks vs. the 3-4 days usually required. I think that there was some suspicion that it may have been broken before dispatch; fortunately I had 2 witnesses.
Next time I will use a digital camera to take photos of the phone as it goes into the packaging.
