Just looking at this and its great - this is what people talked about years ago, when you walk past a shop and it will send you a coupon - thats great...

Thanks for encouragement ... we hope it'll take off (need to get it on Win32 platform, as most people don't have the skills to load up a Linux box with it)....

Did you get a chance to install the client on your 6600 (if you have one)? Generally, the software at www.jellingspot.com/downloads.htm will work on all series 60 phones, but not all phones are the same (memory wise at least), so in the near future new services will be directed at certain phones, and therefore client applications will be more more specific than now ...

If anybody can install it and get it working, great ... we'll put it up on the site that it works. 😉

I really like the idea of this technology 😊

Yu can be almost 99% sure that the client works on the Sendo X BTW.

When I have a bit more time I'd like to get in touch with a view to doing a feature interview about the service.

Cheers

Rafe

Yeah, I think the Sendo X is using Symbian 6.1 so it should work like the others but the 6600 is using Symbian 7.0 ... I hope somebody here will eventually download it and drop me a line (or a line here).

As for any interview, go to the website (www.midletsoft.com -- or -- www.jellingspot.com) and send in an email with a request, and we'll get you your answers. 😉

BTW, if anybody out there wants, they can download the client via WAP:
