i have doom with mmc sup. on my n-gage it works fine but i cant seem to get any sound i've installed the sound file that it comes with but have had know luck!

Read the manual more carefuly.You need to install any other wildpalm game that has sound support.

Why is there no simple way to get it working ?

The sound playing engine (or whatever 😊 ) isn't included in Doom, but is in other wildpalm games. That's why you need to install some other wildpalm game
