Nokia 6600 -> Desktop using IR

Someone who knows how to connect a Nokia 6600 to a computer using a IR-adapter??
I've tried but no success..

I used a Belkin Ir adapter F5U230
and Nokia PC Suite from the nokia cd

I use Grandmars MA-600. No problems at all. Mrouter found the IR Interface directly, much less hassle than with Bluetooth for me.

what's your OS

make sure that your IR drivers are installed properly and asssigned a com port

so that you can check the mroute

I have Win XP Pro and its a USB cabel from the IR-adapter,, i have installed it exactly as its told..

When i tries to find the IR in the Mrouter its says "Media typ not supported. Check your system for media settings",, that must mean that something is wrong with the installation,, or what????

either your IR driver of the phone driver itself.

uninstall PC suite.

then just, first detect the phone thru the IR first. see if it could beam files thru your phone.

then install the pc suite

Now it works,, I uppdatet the drivers and then it worked... thanks for the tips 😊 😊
