can anyone tell me what is the correct pen strokes to get the underscore/underline character "_". Coz I always get the dash/minus "-" instead.😕
I know how to produce the other special characters, only this one I'm having problems.

Go to "Edit" "Help" "Handwriting recognition" and look about 2/3 of the way down, it explains it there.

Yeah, exactly the same, I've never got underscore to work except once, and then by accident, but have no problems with other codes.
rb14 maybe you can translate the help entry you refer to, cos i've tried 4 strokes, and 4 dipped strokes etc like it shows,
both above and below the line and preceded and not preceded by the shift up stroke, and always ended up with dashes.
The help graphic looks like flattened "u"s, four off, but obviously not?

I thought its only me having this problem. JulesG, just like you, I've also tried doing as the HELP says, even before rb14 have suggested it.
RB14, have you ever been successful with the underscore ?
hey JulesG, I got it... I was playing around and i got it....
do as follows: line-up then line-accross then DOT on top of line-accross.
DOT after the line-accross also works... but ontop is easier.

Oh yeah 🙄
Has this code always been there or did it come in at R2?
Sure that there only used to be the one much further down the help screen?
Cool stuff.
