Where can i start

Help Guys, Im trying to develop a tool that when you open the flip on my ericsson p800 a system command runs.

Say for example. U open the flip and it downloads your new emails or say if you open the flip is plays a sounds.
I cant find not one single thing about coding anywhere.

Im not sure if I should use C++ or java or something else. If anyone has somepointers, location of some documents. The beers will be on me.

Any help would be great.. 😃

Try the symbian development forums on here. Though I would suspect C++, as the P800's Java implementation isn't regarded as too great.

Cheers Bassse. But the web site is not that helpful.. I cant see an thing about starting with C++.
The news groups i cant connect to..
