i have windows 98 and have installed the ngage software on my pc, only thing is, it wont find the drivers. i have a formatted mmc card in the ngage its fully charged and everything seems ok, so could someone plz send me the driver files because i really wanna stick some stuff onto my ngage from the pc. cheers in advance.

ps... my email is [email protected] , leave a message if your sending the files so i know when to check. thanks again.

Sorry man, but I think there are no drivers for win98. You must have USB activated and then it work. If usb devices work so will the n-gage!

its me i just signed up. i have a mp3 player that works so it should.

when you say usb should be activated do you mean in the nokia connection manager or whatever its called? cos i tried turning that on and then doing it but it still didnt work, it's getting well annoying now. any other suggestions?

No.
Simply when you plug the N-gage to the USB port Win98 have to add it to the explorer as a usb-drive(or ask for the usb drive drivers to be installed). Then you can upload/download everything into the N-Gage.

all well and good but it doesnt find the drivers

Read the notes associated with your Nokia PC Suite. There is a known error trying to connect your N-Gage to your pc when using Win98.From what I understand, the programme/phone only will recognise COM port1 when using a USB cable. If you're already using COM port1, check you have not got anything else assigned to that port as you'll still end up with the problem. If you have say a modem, assigned to that port they reckon you've got to assign your modem to another port. Also check that you have an original Nokia USB cable - apparently generic cables will also throw up these problems. If all else fails, try a bluetooth adapter for your pc. Apparently you can get a bluetooth adaptor from Argos and it won't cost above 30.Don't go to any phone shops for the adaptor - I got quoted 99.99 from phones4u yestaday(bleedin' rip-off merchants!).Dixons/Currys are 79.99. Correct me if anything here is not quite right.I'm having the same probs as the above person and this is what I've found out so far.
